10 Things You Didn't Know About Patrick Fishburn

 

 

1. Patrick Fishburn was born 21st July 1992 in Ogden, Utah.

2. Patrick Fishburn attended Fremont High School then committed to play golf and attend Brigham Young University. During his collegiate career he was named West Coast Conference Player of the year twice and received All American Honors his senior year.

3. As an Amateur golfer, he won over 60 Regional, National and State Titles. Winning the Utah State Amateur Championship, the world’s oldest continuous running tournament. Also winning the Utah Open Championship setting a scoring record of -26 under par for 54 holes.

4. Patrick grew up as a standout athlete, earning 1st team All-State honors as the starting point guard for the Fremont basketball team. Beyond his passion for sports, he enjoys quality time with his family and stays active through regular workouts and weightlifting.

5. Patrick comes from an athletic family—his dad played college football, while his two sisters Tori & Gretchen showcased their talents on the golf course as members of the Weber State University golf team.

6. Patrick turned professional in 2018. He began his career on the Canadian Tour. After winning the season ending Canadian Tour Championship in 2019, he earned status and his card to play on the Korn Ferry Tour. Patrick spent 2020 through 2023 on the Korn Ferry tour.

7. In 2023, Patrick secured his PGA Tour card for the 2024 season. Finishing inside the Top 30 at 19th on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Points List. Patrick lead the Korn Ferry Tour in greens and regulation and set a Korn Ferry tour record for 108 consecutive holes without a bogey.

8. Patrick served voluntary for two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nashville, Tennessee.

9. Patrick’s Father Steve and older brother Andy own Heritage Farms a large breeding and training facility with locations in Utah and Idaho’ where they maintain over 500 horses.

10. Standing 6’4”, Patrick ranked Top 5 in total driving, 3rd in bogie avoidance and #1 in greens in regulation on the PGA TOUR 2024.
